| Abstract: | Hlavním cílem této bakalářské práce je definovat pojem "pro-poor" turismus (PPT) v mezinárodním měřítku, zmapovat jeho výhody či nevýhody a odpovědět na otázku "jak "pro-poor" turismus pomáhá chudým?". Bakalářská práce je zpracována rešeršně-kompilační metodou. První část se zabývá vysvětlením pojmů, jako je chudoba, "pro-poor" růst a rozvojová země, k vymezení teoretického rámce. Ve druhé části jsou shromážděna data z různých případových studií, kde byla PPT aplikována, a na jejich základě je zjišťováno, jaké jsou dopady PPT. Zjištění uvedená v této práci mohou poskytnout užitečné informace dalším zemím, kde lze PPT aplikovat. |

| Abstract: | The main aims of this bachelor thesis are to define the concept of pro-poor tourism (PPT) on an international scale, to map its advantages or disadvantages, and to answer question “how does pro-poor tourism help the poor?” The bachelor thesis uses search-compilation method. The first part deals with an explanation and definition of the terminology such as poverty, pro-poor growth and developing country as to get a first overview about the content. In the second part the data from different case studies, where PPT was applied are collected and used to find what are the impacts of PPT. The findings in this thesis can provide useful information to other countries, where PPT can be applied to. |
