| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem ochrany spotřebitele v Evropské unii. Cílem práce je zjistit, zda je ochrana spotřebitelů dostatečně účinná a také představit to, jakým způsobem je dodržování právních předpisů na ochranu spotřebitelů v EU vymáháno. Pro přiblížení tématu se první část zaměřuje na popis vývoje spotřebitelské politiky v EU a v druhé části jsou představeny oblasti práv, která spotřebitelům náleží. Třetí kapitola přibližuje to, jak jsou tato práva vymáhána. Poslední kapitola vyhodnocením jednotlivých oblastí práv spotřebitelů posuzuje, do jaké míry je v dnešní době jejich ochrana v EU účinná a navrhuje, co by se mělo pro zvýšení účinnosti zlepšit, respektive jaké právní předpisy by měly být modernizovány. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of consumer protection in the European Union. The aim of this work is to find out whether consumer protection is sufficiently effective and also to present how compliance with consumer protection legislation is enforced in the EU. To clarify the topic, the first part focuses on the description of the development of consumer policy in the EU and the second part presents the areas of rights that belong to consumers. The third chapter describes how these rights are enforced. The last chapter through evaluation of several areas of consumer rights assesses the extent to which their protection is effective in the EU today and suggests what should be improved to increase efficiency. |
