| Abstract: | Diplomová práce analyzuje a popisuje vývoj cestovního ruchu v regionu Střední a Východní Evropa. Teoretická část práce vymezuje základní pojmy z oblasti obecné problematiky cestovního ruchu a následně i toho mezinárodního. Navazuje charakteristika samotného regionu CEE a vývoj jeho ekonomické situace společně se stavem k roku 2021. Teoretická část práce následně analyzuje vývoj cestovního ruchu společně s jeho vlivem na ekonomiky jednotlivých států a na ekonomiku regionu jako celku. Práce se poté přesouvá ke zhodnocení konkurenceschopnosti na mezinárodním trhu cestovního ruchu společně se SWOT analýzou regionu. |

| Abstract: | This thesis analyzes and describes the evolution and development of tourism in the region of Central and Eastern Europe. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the basic concepts in the field of general issues of tourism and subsequently also of the international one. The characteristics of the CEE region itself and the development of its economic situation together with the situation in 2021 follow. The theoretical part of the work then analyzes the development of tourism together with its impact on the economies of individual states and the economy of the region as a whole. The thesis then moves to the evaluation of the competitiveness of the international tourism market together with a SWOT analysis of the region. |
