| Abstract: | Tato práce se zabývá měřením efektivnosti zdravotních systémů evropských zemí použitím metody analýzy obalu dat (zkráceně DEA). Metoda DEA je specifická metoda používaná pro hodnocení efektivnosti jednotek. Teoretická část práce popisuje základní principy metody analýzy obalu dat a představuje konkrétní DEA modely včetně jejich modifikací. Zároveň obsahuje popis současného stavu evropských zdravotních systémů. Praktická část obsahuje výpočet efektivnosti evropských zdravotních systémů pomocí konkrétních DEA modelů popsaných v teoretické části. V závěru práce je zhodnocena efektivnost a připravenost evropských zdravotních systémů na pandemii nemoci covidu-19. |

| Abstract: | This thesis deals with evaluating efficiency of European healthcare systems using data envelopment analysis models (DEA). DEA is a specific method used for measuring efficiency of units. In the theoretical part of this thesis, basic principles of data envelopment analysis are explained and particular DEA models are introduced including their modifications. It also includes a description of the current state of the European healthcare systems. In the practical part the efficiency of European healthcare systems is calculated using specific DEA models described in the theoretical part. The evaluation of efficiency and readiness of European healthcare systems for the covid-19 pandemic is described in the conclusion. |
