Construction project analysis

This bachelor thesis focuses on project management. The thesis describes in detail the construction project of a Chotýčany rest area. Activity wise it is a medium-sized project, which spans over a year with a budget in hundreds of milions. Schedule analysis examines project in terms of days spent by individual stages. To do this we use MPM. The cost analysis then describes the costs in terms of both stages and subcontractors, of which there are a significant number, in the specialised industry of construction. The thesis also involves risk analysis, where the basic idea is the need for a thorough evaluation of potential risks at the beginning of the project in order to reduce its total cost. This is a project for which there were time limits where it was necessary to reach specific milestones at a specified time. The costs should be as low as possible. All data were derived from the previous experience of Eurovia, a.s. and further adapted to the requirements of the contracting authority, which is the ŘSD ČR.
