| Abstract: | Tato práce se zabývá analýzou sezónnosti v typicky sezónních demografických časových řadách v letech 2000 až 2020. Cílem práce je analýza sezónnosti počtu živě narozených a počtu uzavřených manželství v měsíčních časových řadách v České republice a Švédsku. Zároveň je práce zaměřena na ověření hypotézy, zda sezónnost v těchto časových řadách s postupem času klesá, tedy zda nastává její útlum s ohledem na změnu chování společnosti za posledních 10 let. Z teoretického hlediska jsou zde vysvětleny jednotlivé demografické procesy, kterými se práce zabývá a metodologie časových řad. Pro zkoumání sezónnosti v časových řadách jsou použity průměrné sezónní indexy a porovnání sezónnosti ve dvou obdobích je prováděno pomocí speciálního statistického ukazatele. Kromě uvedené analýzy sezónnosti práce obsahuje porovnání demografických procesů dvou odlišných zemí z hlediska kultury a smýšlení společnosti, a to České republiky a Švédska. |

| Abstract: | This thesis is focused on analysis of seasonality in typically seasonal demographic time series since 2000 until 2020. The aim of the thesis is to analyse seasonality of live births and marriages in monthly time series in the Czech Republic and Sweden. This thesis is also focused on verifying the hypothesis whether seasonality in these time series decrease over time and whether it is caused by changes in society behavior over the past 10 years. From a theoretical point of view, the thesis contains the explanation of individual demographic processes that occur in the thesis and also the methodology of time series is explained. Average seasonal indices are used to examine seasonality in the time series and a comparison of seasonality in two periods is made using a special statistical indicator. In addition of the analysis of the seasonality, the thesis contains a comparison of demographic processes of two different countries in terms of culture and society, namely the Czech Republic and Sweden. |
