| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na vývoj hotelnictví vmeziválečném období v Československu. Cestovní ruch prošel ve sledovaném období velmi důležitou etapou svého vývoje, která v dosavadním výzkumu bývá často přehlížena. Cílem práce je pomocí analýzy poptávkových a nabídkových faktorů ovlivňujících obor hotelnictví ověřit hypotézu, že hotelnictví v období meziválečného Československa patřilo k oborům velmi citlivě reagujícím na obecný hospodářský vývoj. Vteoretické části se zaměřuje na definování pojmů souvisejících s cestovním ruchem a hotelnictvím a přibližuje vztahy národního hospodářství s cestovním ruchem. Dále analyzuje obecný hospodářský vývoj v ČSR v meziválečném období, zejména vývoj makroekonomických veličin a jejich vzájemných vztahů a zaměřuje se na sociální stratifikaci československé společnosti. V praktické části se zabývá vývojem hotelnictví ve sledovaném období, zejména vývojem struktury a nabídky hotelů a dále poptávkovými faktory ovlivňujícími hotelnictví a cestovní ruch, přičemž na základě zkoumání dat práce dochází k závěru, že hotelnictví zejména v důsledku hospodářské krize 30. let citlivě reagovalo na obecný hospodářský vývoj. |

| Abstract: | The bachelor's thesis focuses on the development of the hotel industry in the interwar period in Czechoslovakia. In the period under review, tourism went through a very important stage of its development, which is often overlooked in previous research. The goal of the work is to verify the hypothesis that the hotel industry in the period of interwar Czechoslovakia was one of the industries that reacted very sensitively to the general economic development, using the analysis of demand and supply factors affecting the hotel industry. In the theoretical part, the work focus on defining terms related to tourism and the hotel industry and approximates the relations of the national economy with tourism. It also analyzes the general economic development in Czechoslovakia in the interwar period, especially the development of macroeconomic variables and their mutual relations, and focus on the social stratification of Czechoslovak society. In the practical part, it deals with the development of the hotel industry in observed period, in particular the development of the structure and offer of hotels, as well as the demand factors affecting the hotel industry and tourism, and based on the examination of the data of the work, it is concluded that the hotel industry, especially as a result of the economic crisis of the 1930s, reacted sensitively to general economic development. |
