| Abstract: | Diplomová práce analyzuje financování terciárního vzdělávání v České republice a komparuje vybrané ukazatele se zeměmi OECD v rozmezí let 2010 až 2020. Pro komparaci jsou vybrány země Spojeného království Velké Británie a Severního Irska. Práce rozdělená do dvou hlavních částí rozebírá zvolenou problematiku nejprve v teoretické části, ve které je čtenář práce seznámen s řadou pojmů, které jsou pro danou problematiku důležité. Dále je popsána struktura financování terciárního vzdělávání v České republice a vzdělávacího systému ve státech Spojeného království. Pozornost je věnována jednotlivým zdrojům financování terciárního vzdělávání a je rozebrána i otázka možného uzákonění povinného školného v ČR s případnými dopady, které by to mohlo do školství přinést. Navazující praktická část je zaměřena na statistickou analýzu. Ukazatele, které jsou u vybraných států pomocí metody komparace porovnány, jsou podíl populace ve věku 25–64 let, která získala v daném roce vysokoškolské vzdělání, vývoj míry nezaměstnanosti absolventů vysokých škol, průměrné mzdy a platy absolventů na trhu práce a výdaje vynaložené na terciární vzdělávání. V práci je stanovena dílčí výzkumná otázka, zda státy, ve kterých je studium zpoplatněno, generují v průměru nižší počet absolventů z celkového počtu obyvatel než státy, které studium zpoplatněné nemají. Tato hypotéza je v práci verifikována na základě statistických údajů. Závěr práce představuje dotazníkové šetření cílené na současné vysokoškolské studenty či absolventy a zkoumá jejich pohled na zavedení povinného školného. |

| Abstract: | Diploma thesis analyses financing tertiary education in The Czech Republic and compares selected indicators with OECD countries between years 2010 and 2020. Selected for the comparation are countries of United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The thesis is partitioned in two major parts. First part is theoretical, and it will acquaint reader with a list of concepts that are important for the problematics of this thesis. The structure of financing the tertiary education in The Czech Republic and the educational system is described here. Each source of financing the tertiary education is focused on and situation of implementing a mandatory tuition-fee into Czech educational system is also discussed here with all prospective impacts it could have on the system. The following practical part of the diploma thesis is focused on a statistical analysis. Via comparison method the selected countries will be compared based on number of indicators. Among these indicators will be the part of population that has achieved a university degree in the certain year, the evolution of unemployment rate of graduates, average wage, and salary of graduates on the labor market and expenses spent on the tertiary education. Also, a hypothesis will be stated in this diploma thesis – states with a mandatory tuition-fee generates lower amount of graduates from the total population than states without. The answer to this hypothesis will be based on statistical data. The ending of this thesis will be covered by a survey targeting current university students and former graduates and will make research on their point of view on implementing the mandatory tuition-fee. |
