| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce shrnuje poznatky z oblasti hybridního projektového managementu. Cílem práce je zjistit, jak a proč společnosti používají hybridní přístup k projektovému managementu. Důvodem je nutnost neustálé aktualizace metodik projektového řízení v zájmu udržení konkurenční výhody. Tento cíl je naplněn pomocí rešerše dostupných zdrojů a kvalitativního výzkumu v podobě polostrukturovaných rozhovorů. Výzkumným souborem je 6 zaměstnanců pracujících v projektových týmech řízených hybridním projektovým managementem v různých velkých IT společnostech. Na základě analýzy dát jsou vyhodnoceny dvě výzkumné otázky, které zkoumají výkon hybridního projektového management z pohledu trojimperativu, a kritéria pro zvolení vhodné kombinace prvků z agilního a prediktivního přístupů. Výsledkem první výzkumné otázky je, že projekty řízené hybridním způsobem mohou být dodávány v čas, dle naplánovaného rozpočtu, dle naplánovaného rozsahu a v požadované kvalitě s malými nebo žádnými chybami. Výsledkem druhé výzkumné otázky je, že 5 kritérií: detailnost plánování, rozsah projektu, podrobnost aktivit, plánovací horizont a zvyky členů týmu, by mohly ovlivňovat rozhodování o zvolení vhodné kombinace agilních a prediktivních prvků. |

| Abstract: | This Master’s thesis summarizes current findings in the field of hybrid project management. The goal of the thesis is to find out why companies use hybrid approach to project management and according to what criteria they choose a combination of elements from agile and predictive methodologies. The reason is the need to constantly update project management methodologies in order to maintain a competitive advantage. This goal is fulfilled by means of a search of available sources and qualitative research in the form of semi-structured interviews. The research set consists of 6 employees working in project teams managed by hybrid project management in various large IT companies. Based on the data analysis, two research questions were evaluated, which examined the performance of hybrid project management from the perspective of the Iron Triangle and the criteria for choosing a suitable combination of elements from agile and predictive approaches. The result of the first research question is that projects managed in a hybrid way may be delivered on time, according to the planned budget, according to the planned scope and in the required quality with little or no errors. The result of the second research question is that 5 criteria: planning detail, project scope, activity detail, planning horizon and habits of team members may influence the decision to choose an appropriate combination of agile and predictive elements. |
