| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá organizací veřejné správy za první republiky a stručným náhledem na hospodaření vybraných municipalit. Cílem práce je komparace organizace veřejné správy na území Rakouska-Uherska a Československé republiky v období 1918 1938 a zhodnocení úspěšnosti reforem provedených v tomto období v již zmíněných regionech. Analýza probíhá na základě literární rešerše, syntézy, deskripce a komparace statistických dat. V práci je na základě těchto informací zhodnocena jak úspěšnost reforem, tak také efektivnost a účinnost zákonů, které byly v tomto období schváleny. V závěru práce se objevuje hospodaření vybraných měst Československé republiky v porovnání s předcházejícím obdobím, díky čemuž je provedeno zhodnocení, zda Československo dokázalo prostřednictvím zavedením demokracie realizovat výhody z toho plynoucí a promítnout je do efektivnějšího hospodaření municipalit. |

| Abstract: | The bachelor's thesis deals with the organization of public administration during the First Republic and a brief overview of the management of selected municipalities. The aim of the thesis is to compare the organization of public administration on the territory of Austria-Hungary Empire and the Czechoslovak Republic in the period 1918-1938 and to evaluate the success of the reforms carried out in this period in the already mentioned regions. The analysis is based on literature research, synthesis, description and comparison of statistical data. Based on this information, the work evaluates both the success of the reforms, as well as the effectiveness and efficiency of the laws that were approved during this period. At the end of the thesis, the management of selected cities of the Czechoslovak Republic is presented in comparison with the previous period, thanks to which an evaluation is made of whether Czechoslovakia was able to realize the benefits resulting from the introduction of democracy and project them into a more efficient management of municipalities. |
