| Abstract: | Cílem diplomové práce je popsat proces finanční due diligence v rámci fúzí a akvizic. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část, přičemž v teoretické části je v obecné rovině představena problematika fúzí a akvizic, základní mechanismy due diligence a její jednotlivé specializace. Největší prostor v teoretické části je věnován představení finanční due diligence. V praktické části je na žádost potenciálního investora zpracována případová studie fiktivní společnosti, která působí v oblasti poskytování internetového připojení. |

| Abstract: | The aim of the thesis is to describe the role of financial due diligence in the process of mergers and acquisitions. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part, where the theoretical part presents the introduction to mergers and acquisitions and the basic mechanisms of due diligence and its individual specializations. The largest space in the theoretical part is devoted to the introduction of financial due diligence. In the practical part, at the request of a potential investor, a case study of a fictitious company operating as an internet service provider is prepared by a consulting company. |
