| Abstract: | Diplomová práce přibližuje fungování a význam science center v České republice se zaměřením na společnost Techmania Science Center o. p. s. a její investiční projekt – interaktivní expozici Inženýr, která byla uvedena do provozu v roce 2019. Cílem práce bylo provést zhodnocení tohoto investičního projektu, který byl podpořen dotací od města Plzeň, a poskytnout doporučení, která by vedla ke zkvalitnění plánování a hodnocení dalších podobných projektů, tzn. výroby interaktivních expozic. I přes nezahrnutí nepeněžních přínosů dosáhl projekt při hodnocení ekonomické efektivnosti velmi dobrých hodnot. V rámci citlivostní analýzy bylo zjištěno, že výsledek projektu je závislý na očekávaných příjmech, a to jak z nájemného, tak ze vstupného. Pro zvýšení vypovídací schopnosti hodnocení ekonomické efektivnosti dalších expozic bylo společnosti doporučeno udržovat aktuální výrobní dokumentaci, rozšířit systém evidence závad a provádět analýzy návštěvnosti a atraktivity jednotlivých programů. |

| Abstract: | The diploma thesis describes the purpose of science centers in the Czech Republic.The focus is on the company Techmania Science Center o. p. s. and its investment project – the interactive exhibition Engineer, which was subsidized by the city of Pilsen and opened in 2019. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate this investment project and provide recommendations that would lead to better planning and evaluation of other similar projects i.e., construction of interactive exhibitions. Despite not including non-monetary benefits, the results of the evaluation turned out well. As part of the sensitivity analysis, it was found that the outcome of the project is dependent on the expected revenues, both from the rent and from the entrance fees. To increase the quality of evaluation of other exhibitions, the company was advised to maintain up-to-date production documentation, add more information to the defect records and conduct analysis of the visitors and attractiveness of programs. |
