| Abstract: | Cílem této diplomové práce je zhodnotit na základě vybraných ukazatelů a stanovené metodologie současný stav Běloruska v pojetí mezinárodní konkurenceschopnosti. První kapitola se zabývá rešerši literatury a analýzou různých teorií a aspektů konkurenceschopnosti. V neposlední řádě poskytuje první kapitola přehled nevýznamných ročenek a ratingů, které měří konkurenceschopnost. V rámci této kapitoly jsou vybrané ukazatele pro měření konkurenceschopnosti a je stanovená metodologie. Druhá kapitola je věnována samotné analýze a zkoumání konkurenceschopnosti podle ukazatelů a ročenek, na konci kapitoly je uveden přehled celkového postavení Běloruska z pohledu mezinárodní konkurenceschopnosti. Třetí kapitola se zabývá analýzou třech možných scénářů vývoje současné politické situace, kterých se Bělorusko účastní, a jejich dopad na vývoj konkurenceschopnosti v krátkém časovém horizontu. |

| Abstract: | The aim of this thesis is to assess the current state of Belarus in terms of international competitiveness on the basis of selected indicators and the established methodology. The first chapter deals with literature search and analysis of different theories and aspects of competitiveness. Last but not least, the first chapter provides an overview of non-significant yearbooks and ratings that measure competitiveness. Within this chapter, indicators for measuring competitiveness are selected and the methodology established. The second chapter is devoted to the actual analysis and examination of competitiveness by indicators and yearbooks, and at the end of the chapter an overview of the overall position of Belarus in terms of international competitiveness is provided. The third chapter deals with the analysis of three possible scenarios of the current political situation involving Belarus and their impact on the development of competitiveness in the short term. |
