| Abstract: | Náhorní Karabach. Oblast v Ázerbájdžánu obývaná z 95 % Armény, což po desetiletí způsobuje konflikty a nenávist mezi těmito dvěma národy. K poslednímu konfliktu došlo v září 2020, přičemž se jednalo o jeden z nejkrvavějších střetů vůbec. K jeho ukončení přispělo až podepsání mírové smlouvy mezi arménským předsedou vlády Pašinjanem, ázerbájdžánským prezidentem Alijevem a ruským prezidentem Putinem. Význam Náhorního Karabachu lze pozorovat na zájmu a rozsáhlém zapojení mezinárodních aktérů, mezi něž patří i Ruská federace a Turecko. Právě tyto dvě země využívají oblast jako své mocenské bojiště. Jakými prostředky mocenské politiky se země v konfliktu angažují? Jsou jejich kroky v souladu s jejich geopolitikami? Tato práce v první části zkoumá ruskou a tureckou geopolitiku společně s prostředky mocenské politiky, v druhé části se soustředí na analýzu způsobů zapojení Ruské federace a Turecka do konfliktu. |

| Abstract: | Nagorno-Karabakh. An area in Azerbaijan inhabited by 95% Armenians which has caused conflict and hatred between the two peoples for decades. The last conflict occurred in September 2020, and was one of the bloodiest clashes ever. It was only the signing of a peace treaty between Armenian Prime Minister Pashinyan, Azerbaijani President Aliyev and Russian President Putin that brought it to an end. The importance of Nagorno-Karabakh can be seen in the interest and extensive involvement of international actors, including the Russian Federation and Turkey. It is these two countries that are using the region as a power battlefield. What means of power politics are the countries using to engage in the conflict? Are their actions in line with their geopolitics? This thesis, in the first part, examines Russian and Turkish geopolitics along with the means of power politics, while in the second part it focuses on the analysis of the ways in which the Russian Federation and Turkey are involved in the conflict. |
