| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá makroekonomickými následky šíření nemoci COVID-19 v Kolumbii, zkoumá dopad pandemie na zahraniční obchod Kolumbie a také na česko-kolumbijskou obchodní výměnu, její objem a komoditní strukturu. Rešerše literatury obsahuje teoretické definování recese z pohledu různých ekonomických směrů a obecné vymezení makroekonomických dopadů infekčních nemocí. Metodologicky práce využívá především analýzu změn makroekonomických ukazatelů a ukazatelů zahraničního obchodu, které nastaly po propuknutí pandemie. Nejzávažnější následky mělo šíření nemoci COVID-19 na HDP země, export a import. Pomocí regresní a korelační analýzy bylo zjištěno, že nejsilnější závislostní vztah měla k vývoji nákazy v Kolumbii, vyjádřenému přírůstkem nově nakažených, obchodní bilance země. |

| Abstract: | This thesis deals with the macroeconomic consequences of the spread of the COVID-19 disease in Colombia, examines the impact of the pandemic on Colombia's foreign trade and also on Czech-Colombian trade, its volume and commodity structure. The literature review includes a theoretical definition of recession from different economic perspectives and a general definition of the macroeconomic impact of infectious diseases. Methodologically, the thesis mainly uses an analysis of changes in macroeconomic and foreign trade indicators that occurred after the pandemic outbreak. The most serious consequences of the spread of the COVID-19 disease were on the country's GDP, exports and imports values. Using regression and correlation analysis, it was found that the country's trade balance had the strongest dependence relationship with the evolution of the disease in Colombia expressed by the increase in new infections. |
