| Abstract: | Práce se zabývá tématem big data technologií a jejich využitelnosti v právním prostředí. Rozbor se zaměří na možné příčiny nízké adopce big data v odvětví a specifické výzvy, které v této souvislosti v právním prostředí vznikají. Výzkum je proveden formou polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s právními profesionály a experty na automatizaci právních úkonů. Výsledky výzkumu ukazují, že big data mají v právním prostředí využití, ale v některých oblastech jsou limitovaná striktní povahou odvětví. Díky výzkumu byly experty identifikovány i oblasti právní praxe s největším potenciálem pro využití big data a učiněna doporučení pro zavádění takových inovací. Dosažená zjištění mohou mít pozitivní přínos pro osoby zabývající se inovací právních procesů, akademiky, ale i právní profesionály. |

| Abstract: | This thesis explores the topic of big data technologies and their usability in the legal environment. The analysis will focus on the possible causes of the low adoption of big data in the legal industry and the specific challenges that arise in this context in the legal environment. The research is conducted in the form of semi-structured interviews with legal professionals and experts on the automation of legal tasks. While research results show that big data has a good use case in the legal environment, in some areas the use is limited by the strict nature of the industry. Thanks to the research, the experts also identified the areas of legal practice with the greatest potential for the use of big data and made recommendations for better introduction of such innovations. The findings of this thesis can be beneficial for professionals working on innovations in the legal industry, academics, but also legal professionals. |
