| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce analyzuje dopad vstupu do eurozóny na některé makroekonomické agregáty vybraných států Evropské unie. Těmito státy jsou Španělsko, Řecko, Itálie, Estonsko a Slovensko. Analýza se zaměřuje na míru inflace, HDP na hlavu, míru nezaměstnanosti a vládní dluh v poměru ku HDP. Teoretická část se zabývá ekonomickými teoriemi souvisejícími s daným výzkumem. Jedná se například o teorii měnové politiky, teorii optimální měnové oblasti nebo konvergenční kritéria. Praktická část je rozdělena do dvou hlavních kapitol. V první kapitole je popsán vývoj eurozóny. V druhé kapitole se nachází samotný výzkum dopadů přijetí eura na vývoj ekonomik daných států. Na konci praktické části jsou komparovány dopady přijetí eura všech zemí podle jednotlivých agregátů. Na samotném konci diplomové práce se nachází závěr shrnující všechny poznatky získané analýzou v předchozí kapitole. |

| Abstract: | This thesis analyzes the impact of joining the Eurozone on macroeconomic aggregates of selected states of the European Union. Selected countries are Spain, Greece, Italy, Estonia, and Slovakia. The analysis focuses on inflation rate, GDP per capita, unemployment rate and government debt to GDP ratio. The theoretical part shows economic theories related to the given research. For example, the theory of monetary policy, the theory of the optimal monetary area or convergence criteria. The practical part is divided into two main chapters. The first chapter describes the development of the eurozone. In the second chapter, there is the research of the effects of the adoption of the euro on the development of the economy of the given states. At the end of the practical part, all impacts are compared together according to individual aggregates. At the very end of this thesis, there is a summary of all the findings obtained from the analysis in the previous chapter. |
