| Abstract: | Hlavním cílem práce je zhodnotit význam přeshraniční spolupráce mezi ČR a SR pro regionální rozvoj v Euroregionu Bílé Karpaty v letech 2014-2020 u obcí podpořených v přeshraničních programech a u obcí, které v přeshraničních programech podpořeny nebyly. Cílem práce je zjistit, zda se obce podpořené v přeshraničních programech rozvíjejí lépe než obce v přeshraničních programech neaktivní. Teoretická část práce se zabývá na základě literární rešerše nejprve tématikou regionálního rozvoje obecně, jsou představena teoretická východiska regionální politiky, přeshraniční spolupráce a také definovány euroregiony jako nástroje podpory přeshraniční spolupráce. V praktické části probíhá sociekonomická analýza území Euroregionu Bílé Karpaty. V návaznosti na proběhlé dotazníkové šetření, je následně zpracována komparativní analýza obcí podpořených v přeshraničních programech v rámci přeshraniční spolupráce ČR-SR a obcí, které v přeshraničních programech podpořeny nebyly. Komparativní analýza, uskutečněna za použití vhodně zvolených socioekonomických ukazatelů, potvrdila hypotézu, že obce aktivní v rámci přeshraniční spolupráce dosahovaly po skončení programového období lepších průměrných hodnot u socioekonomických ukazatelů než obce v rámci přeshraniční spolupráce neaktivní. |

| Abstract: | The main aim of the thesis is to evaluate the importance of cross-border cooperation between the Czech Republic and Slovakia for regional development in the White Carpathian Mountains Euroregion during the years 2014-2020 for municipalities supported in cross-border programs and for municipalities that were not supported in cross-border programs. The aim of the thesis is to find out whether municipalities supported in cross-border programs develop better than municipalities inactive in cross-border programs. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the topic of regional development in general on the basis of literature research, the theoretical basis of regional policy, cross-border cooperation are presented, and euroregions are also defined as tools for supporting cross-border cooperation. In the practical part, a socio-economic analysis of the White Carpathian Mountains Euroregion is carried out. As a follow-up to the questionnaire survey, a comparative analysis of municipalities supported in cross-border programs within the framework of cross-border cooperation between the Czech Republic and Slovakia and municipalities that were not supported in cross-border programs is subsequently carried out. A comparative analysis, carried out using appropriately selected socio-economic indicators, confirmed the hypothesis that municipalities active in cross-border cooperation achieved better average values of socio-economic indicators after the end of the program period than municipalities inactive in cross-border cooperation. |
