| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce je věnována externímu auditu se zaměřením na oblast dlouhodobého majetku. Kromě tohoto hlavního tématu cílí práce též na seznámení s dalšími příbuznými oblastmi, především na účtování, oceňování a odpisování dlouhodobého majetku. Z pohledu auditorské praxe se diplomová práce zabývá rovněž stanovením významnosti (materiality), auditorskými riziky a prováděním auditorských testů. Druhá část práce se zaměřuje na praktické využití teoretických znalostí. Předmětem ověřování je dlouhodobý majetek vybrané anonymizované společnosti XYZ, a. s., jejíž podnikatelská činnost spočívá v prodeji, pronájmu a servisu stavebních a nově i zemědělských strojů a techniky. |

| Abstract: | This diploma thesis is dedicated to external auditing with a focus on fixed assets. In addition to this main topic, the thesis also aims to introduce other related areas, especially accounting, valuation and depreciation of fixed assets. From the point of view of auditing practice, the diploma thesis also deals with the determination of significant matter (materiality), audit risks and the perfomrance of audit tests. The second part of the thesis focuses on the practical use of theoretical knowledge. The subject of audit is fixed assets of the selected anonymized company XYZ, a. s., whose business activity consists in the sale, rental and servicing of construction and, more recently, agricultural machinery and equipment. |
