| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá vlivem uhlíkové daně jako ekonomickým nástrojem v rámci environmentální politiky. V teoretické části je popsán aktuální stav životního prostředí, principy a cíle environmentální politiky a její ekonomické nástroje, které jsou využívany v boji proti změnám klimatu po celém světě. Druhá kapitola je věnována uhlíkové dani, jaká by měla být její optimální výše, obecný princip fungování uhlíkové daně, včetně porovnání s emisními povolenkami a konkrétní příklady uhlíkové daně. Cílem práce je analyzovat vliv uhlíkové daně na životní prostředí. Pro měření vlivu uhlíkové daně na životní prostředí je použita vícenásobná regresní analýza. Práce dokazuje, že uhlíková daň by mohla být dobře využitelným nástrojem pro snížení množství produkovaných emisí CO2, a tím pádem k omezení dopadu klimatických změn. |

| Abstract: | The diploma thesis deals with the influence of the carbon tax as an economic tool within the framework of environmental policy. The theoretical part describes the current state of the environment, the principles and goals of environmental policy and economic tools, which are used in the fight against climate change all over the world. The second chapter is devoted to the carbon tax, what should be its optimal amount, the general principle of the functioning of the carbon tax, including a comparison with emission allowances and specific examples of the carbon tax. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the impact of the carbon tax on the environment. Multiple regression analysis is used to measure the impact of the carbon tax on the environment. The work proves that the carbon tax could be a useful tool for reducing the amount of CO2 emissions produced, and thus for limiting the impact of climate change. |
