| Abstract: | Habilitační práce se zabývá řízením podnikové analytiky v době neustále rostoucího objemu produkovaných dat a požadavků na rychlá rozhodnutí v kontextu řízení firem, pro jejichž podporu vzniká značné množství analytických aplikací. Výsledky provedeného výzkumu ukazují problémy spojené s jejich efektivitou a dodávkou přidané hodnoty. Cílem práce je vytvořit model pro návrh a řízení služeb podnikové analytiky, jakožto prvku vedoucího ke zkvalitnění řízení firem, jejich výkonnosti a flexibility vzhledem k trvale se měnící situaci na trhu a změnám v celém spektru technologií. První část práce představuje způsoby rozhodování v řízení firem a jejich pokrytí analytickými produkty ve vazbě na řízení od strategického nastavení až po každodenní (operativní) činnosti. Navazující část analyzuje aktuální problémy v řízení analytiky firem, možnosti jejich řešení a přináší východiska pro tvorbu modelu pro návrh a řízení služeb podnikové analytiky. Ten je uveden v závěrečné části práce a skládá se z analytických služeb, řešených problémů, metrik, rolí, jejich zodpovědností, procesů, potřebných integrací a faktorů, dat a dalších zdrojů a komponent. Součástí jsou případové studie, které demonstrují analytické služby nebo jejich řešení. Habilitační práce koresponduje s hlavními oblastmi vědecko-výzkumných prací Fakulty informatiky a statistiky VŠE v Praze, zaměřením výzkumu Katedry informačních technologií FIS VŠE v Praze a navazuje na publikační výstupy autora v oblasti analytických řešení. |

| Abstract: | The habilitation thesis focuses on business analytics management at a time when the volume of produced data is constantly growing, and so are the requirements for fast decision-making in business management, with many analytical applications being created to support it. The results of the conducted study point out issues connected to their efficiency and added value created. The thesis aims to create a model for designing and managing company analytics services to improve company management, performance, and flexibility in the context of a fast-changing market environment and tech breakthroughs. The first part of the thesis presents decision-making approaches in company management and the analytical products that cover them, from setting strategies to day-to-day (operational) activities. The following part analyses the existing problems in company analytics management and possible solutions and offers inputs for generating a design and management model for company analytics services. The model is described in the final part of the thesis, and consists of analytical services, addressed issues, metrics, roles, their responsibilities, processes, required integrations and factors, data, and other resources and components. It also includes case studies demonstrating analytical services or their solutions. The habilitation thesis corresponds to the primary research fields for theses at the Faculty of Informatics and Statistics, the Prague University of Economics and Business and the research focus of the Department of Information Technologies at FIS VŠE. It is connected to the author's publication activity on analytical solutions. |
