| Abstract: | Cílem diplomové práce je zdokumentovat souvislost mezi tvorbou rezerv a opravných položek, jejich rozpuštěním, výsledkem hospodaření a zůstatkem peněžní hotovosti. Zároveň provést analýzu procesů řízení rezerv a opravných položek s důrazem na to, jak se do tohoto procesu zapojuje vedení firmy a nalézt procesy, které firmy pravidelně využívají a mají je zahrnuty do svých vnitřních směrnic a které využívají jenom výjimečně nebo málo. Diplomová práce je zaměřena na rezervy a opravné položky stavebních firem. K dosažení cílů diplomové práce je použita analýza zveřejněných výročních zpráv a rozhovor s experty. Z provedené analýzy bylo identifikováno, že stavební firmy vytvářejí opravné položky k pohledávkám a nedokončené výrobě a rezervy na záruční opravy, ztrátové projekty a soudní spory. Z analýzy vyplynulo, že tvorba rezerv a opravných položek způsobí vyšší náklady a tím snížení výsledku hospodaření a peněžního toku firem. Z rozhovoru s experty bylo potvrzeno, že vedení firmy hraje klíčovou roli při tvorbě rezerv a opravných položek. Pečlivý přístup k jejich tvorbě může významně ovlivnit finanční stabilitu firem. |

| Abstract: | The aim of the thesis is to document the connection between the creation of reserves and provisions, their dissolution, the economic results and the cash flow. At the same time, carry out an analysis of the processes of management of reserves and provisions with an emphasis on how the company's management is involved in this process and find processes that companies regularly use and have included in their internal guidelines and that they use only exceptionally or little. The thesis is focused on reserves and provisions of construction companies. To achieve the goals of the thesis, an analysis of published annual reports and an interview with experts are used. From the analysis, it was identified that construction companies create allowances for receivables and work in progress and reserves for warranty repairs, loss-making projects and lawsuits. The analysis showed that the creation of reserves and provisions will cause higher costs and thus a decrease in the economic results and cash flow of companies. From the interview with the experts, it was confirmed that the management of the company has a key role in the creation of reserves and provisions. A careful approach to their creation can significantly affect the financial stability of companies. |
