| Abstract: | The aim of the thesis was to discover the potential relation between leadership styles, employee motivation and job performance in a large multinational company. The research was focused on the specific department within the case company which helped to conduct the research in a very practical way applying both qualitative and quantitative methods. After analyzing the results of the research, it was recommended how the current leadership style of Line Managers in the case company can be adjusted in order to maximize employee motivation and job performance. |

| Abstract: | Cílem práce bylo zjistit potenciální vztah mezi styly vedení, motivací zaměstnanců a pracovním výkonem ve velké nadnárodní společnosti. Výzkum byl zaměřen na konkrétní oddělení v rámci case společnosti, které pomohlo provést výzkum velmi praktickým způsobem s využitím kvalitativních i kvantitativních metod. Po analýze výsledků výzkumu bylo doporučeno, jak lze upravit současný styl vedení liniových manažerů v case společnosti, aby se maximalizovala motivace zaměstnanců a pracovní výkon. |
