| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá nabídkovým šokem na trhu vzácných kovů v souvislosti s výrobou baterií a jeho dopadem na automobilový průmysl. První část práce se věnuje rizikům dodavatelských řetězců v této oblasti. Dále poukazuje na důležitost vzácných kovů pro elektromobily, a jaký podíl má samotná baterie na kalkulaci ceny vozu. Představuje také některé technologické substituty lithium-iontových baterií a budoucí scénáře vývoje. Druhá část se zabývá omezením zásob, těžby a dodávek vybraných vzácných kovů pro výrobu baterií a poukazuje na možné ekonomické důsledky. Dále pojednává o budoucí přepokládané spotřebě vybraných kovů a technologických možnostech recyklace a na základě budoucích scénářů vývoje odhaduje podíl kovů získaných z recyklace na celkové budoucí spotřebě. Poslední část práce je věnována možnému budoucímu vývoji cen vybraných vzácných kovů a poukazuje na možné důsledky a rizika v souvislosti s vývojem cen vybraných kovů. Hlavním cílem této bakalářské práce je za pomoci analýzy zjistit, jak se budou vyvíjet ukazatele jako zásoby, produkce a cena vzácných kovů v souvislosti s výrobou baterií a posoudit tak, v jaké míře hrozí nabídkový šok na tomto trhu. Vedlejším cílem této bakalářské práce je odhadnout podíl baterie na kalkulaci ceny elektromobilu a rovněž odhadnout podíl vybraných vzácných kovů získaných z recyklace na celkové budoucí předpokládané spotřebě. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis deals with the supply shock in the precious metals market in the context of battery production and its impact on the automotive industry. The first part of the thesis is focused on the risks of supply chains on this market. It then highlights the importance of rare metals for electric vehicles, and what contribution the battery itself has to the cost of the electric vehicle. It also presents some technological substitutes for lithium-ion batteries and future development scenarios. The second part is concentrated on the reserves, production and supply constraints of selected rare metals for battery production and highlights the possible economic implications. It also discusses the future projected consumption of selected metals and technological options for recycling and estimates the share of metals from recycling in total future consumption based on future scenarios. The last part of the thesis is devoted to the possible future development of price of selected precious metals and emphasizes the possible consequences and risks related to the development of price of selected metals. The main objective of this thesis is to analyse how indicators such as reserves, production and price of precious metals will develop in the context of battery production in order to assess the level of risk of a supply shock on this market. The secondary objective of this bachelor thesis is to estimate the contribution of the battery to the cost of an electric vehicle and also to estimate the share of selected rare metals recovered from recycling on the total future projected consumption. |
