| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá situací diplomatek v ESVČ z pohledu genderové vyváženosti. Cílem práce bylo zanalyzovat, jakým způsobem vypadá vnitřní struktura a vnitřní politika ESVČ z pohledu rovného genderového zastoupení a s jakými výzvami se diplomatky v ESVČ v souvislosti s touto problematikou potýkají. Práce stojí na teoretickém rámci, který se věnuje feminismu a genderu v diplomacii, potažmo ženám v diplomacii a genderově podmíněným bariérám. Samotný výzkum proběhl prostřednictvím analýzy dokumentů charakterizujících vnitřní genderovou politiku ESVČ a rozhovorů s bývalými a současnými diplomatkami ESVČ. Na základě výzkumu byla charakterizována momentální vnitřní struktura ESVČ, dále byly definovány výzvy, jimž diplomatky ESVČ v současnosti čelí, a formulovány kroky, které ESVČ podniká k řešení těchto výzev. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis examines the situation of female diplomats in the EEAS from the perspective of gender balance. The thesis aimed to analyze the internal structure and internal policies of the EEAS in terms of gender equality and to identify the challenges faced by female diplomats in this context. The theoretical framework for this thesis is centered around feminism and gender in diplomacy and consequently focuses on women in diplomacy and gendered barriers. The research was conducted through analysis of documents characterizing the internal gender policy of the EEAS and interviews with former and current female EEAS diplomats. The research resulted in characterizing the current internal structure of the EEAS, defining the challenges that female EEAS diplomats currently face, and formulating the steps that the EEAS is taking to address these challenges. |
