| Abstract: | Práce se zabývá trendy z hlediska diverzifikace komoditní struktury exportu Peru od roku 1995 až do současnosti. Je obecně známo, že Peru je velmi bohaté na přírodní zdroje. Práce tedy zkoumá, zdali i přesto Peru dokáže diverzifikovat svůj exportní koš a tím učinit svoji ekonomiku stabilnější. Pomocí analýzy dat podílů komoditních skupin na vývozním koši a dalších indikátorů bylo zjištěno, že horizontální ani vertikální diverzifikace Peru není dostatečná. Peru dokonce ve většině ohledech dosahovalo horších výsledků, než byl průměr celého regionu Latinské Ameriky a Karibiku. |

| Abstract: | The thesis examines trends in terms of diversification of the commodity structure of Peru's exports from 1995 to the present. It is generally known that Peru is very abundant when it comes to natural resources. Therefore, the thesis examines whether Peru can despite this fact succeed in diversifying its export basket and thus make its economy more stable. By analyzing data on the shares of commodity groups in the export basket and other indicators, it was found that neither horizontal nor vertical diversification of Peru is sufficient. In fact, in most respects, Peru performed worse than the overall average of the Latin America and Caribbean region. |
