| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá důsledky pandemie COVID-19 pro podniky letecké dopravy. V teoretické části práce je popsán význam letecké dopravy pro ekonomiku státu a je představeno několik světových leteckých organizací. Dále je popsán průběh pandemie v návaznosti na letecký průmysl, jsou zmíněna přijatá opatření v Evropská unii, USA a Číně a je charakterizována i s pandemií spojená pracovní nejistota. Praktická část je věnována porovnání společností Lufthansa, Turkish Airlines a American Airlines a jejich výsledků během pandemie. Porovnání probíhá na základě analýzy základních ukazatelů a na konci dochází k celkovému zhodnocení a tím i identifikování důsledků pandemie COVID-19 pro podniky letecké dopravy. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis deals with the implications of the COVID-19 pandemic for air transport companies. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the importance of air transport for the national economy and introduces several global aviation organizations. Furthermore, the course of the pandemic in relation to the aviation industry is described, the measures taken in the European Union, the USA and China are mentioned, and the job insecurity associated with the pandemic is characterized. The practical part is devoted to a comparison of Lufthansa, Turkish Airlines and American Airlines and their performance during the pandemic. The comparison is based on an analysis of key indicators and concludes with an overall assessment, thereby identifying the implications of the COVID-19 pandemic for air transport companies. |
