Design and implementation of a framework for automating the development of data warehouses on the Microsoft Azure platform

Creating a Business Intelligence solution involves a series of repetitive, but necessary activities and tasks. A way to speed up the development and reduce the cost of the project of creating a Business Intelligence solution is to use automation through the use of a framework, the design and creation of which is the focus of this thesis. The first part of the thesis describes development of the framework from requirements gathering and specification to deployment in the customer environment. The second part of the thesis describes the process of developing a specific framework to support the development of Business Intelligence solutions built on the Microsoft Azure platform. The framework is developed based on the requirements of the management and developers of the data analytics department of company Seyfor. The main benefit is the developed framework that can be reused by interested parties for their projects and they can use this work as documentation of the framework. Alternatively, sample source codes which solve specific tasks within the framework, can be used.
