| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou cenové tvorby leteckých společností se zaměřením na vznik cen letenek a jejich vývoj v čase. Cílem práce je analýza a zpracování reálně nasbíraných dat o cenách letenek na vybraných příkladech letů v několika různých termínech a následné srovnání vývoje cen letenek na sledovaných trasách. Teoretická část práce nejprve popisuje a hodnotí obecná specifika a význam letecké dopravy v cestovním ruchu, dále se věnuje obecnému ekonomickému pojetí a významu cenové tvorby a v poslední kapitole popisuje specifika cenotvorby v letecké dopravě. Zvláštní důraz je kladen na vymezení a popis rozdílů mezi klasickými a nízkonákladovými leteckými společnostmi, které k cenové tvorbě přistupují navzájem zcela odlišně. V rámci praktické části práce je proveden vlastní výzkum metodou sběru a analýzy dat o cenách letenek na vybraných příkladech letů z mezinárodního letiště ve Vídni do celkem pěti destinací (Tel Aviv, Athény, Dubaj, Taipei, New York) v celkem čtyřech různých obdobích (přelom roků 2022 a 2023, únor 2023, březen 2023, období Velikonoc 2023). Ceny letenek na těchto trasách byly pravidelně pozorovány u celkem deseti leteckých společností a v praktické části práce byla provedena analýza a grafické zpracování jejich vývoje. Shrnutí a diskuse výsledků tohoto výzkumu včetně zodpovězení výzkumných otázek a zhodnocení stanovených hypotéz jsou provedeny v poslední kapitole praktické části práce. |

| Abstract: | The master‘s thesis covers the topic of price formation of airlines focusing on the creation and development of air ticket prices over time. The aim of the thesis is to analyse and elaborate the real data collected on air ticket prices for selected flight examples in various time frames followed by a comparison of the air ticket price development on the observed routes. The theoretical part of the thesis first describes and evaluates the general specifics and significance of air transport in the tourism industry, then focuses on the general economic concept and importance of price formation, and in the last chapter describes the specifics of the price formation in air transport. Special emphasis is laid on defining and describing the differences between full-service and low-cost airlines, each of which approaches the price formation in a completely different way. In the analytical part of the thesis, original research is conducted based on the collection and analysis of data on air ticket prices for selected flights from Vienna International Airport to five different destinations (Tel Aviv, Athens, Dubai, Taipei, New York) in four different periods (the turn of 2022 and 2023, February 2023, March 2023, Easter holidays 2023). The air ticket prices for these routes and periods were regularly observed for ten airlines in total. An analysis and graphical representation of their development over time are carried out in the analytical part of the thesis. In the final chapter, the summary and discussion of the research results, including answering research questions and the evaluation of established hypotheses, are carried out. |
