| Abstract: | Cílem této práce je prozkoumat dopady festivalů na lokalitu, kde se konají. Zabývá se tím, v jaké míře danou destinaci festivaly ovlivňují, jaké oblasti nejvíce zasahují a jak se tyto dopady vypočítávají a vyhodnocují. Blíže zkoumanou oblastí je festival Smetanova Litomyšl. První kapitola seznamuje čtenáře se základními termíny, které jsou stěžejní pro porozumění zkoumané problematice. Jedná se především o pojmy jako kulturní cestovní ruch, festival, metody měření dopadů a online reputační management. Druhá část práce je zaměřena na konkrétní destinaci, a to na město Litomyšl, kde se festival Smetanova Litomyšl koná. Cílem je zde blíže představit město a prozkoumat tak prostředí této kulturní akce. Třetí část práce se už zabývá samotným výzkumem dopadů festivalu na město. Na základě rešerše literatury z první části jsou zde aplikovány metody, kterými jsou dopady festivalu na lokalitu zkoumány. Výzkum se nejprve zaměřuje na online reputační management festivalu, který velmi úzce souvisí i s reputací města. Ve druhém kroku je provedeno dotazníkové šetření, které si klade za cíl zjistit postavení festivalu v porovnání s ostatními turistickými cíli města, a taktéž zmapovat váhu festivalu jako faktoru, který ovlivňuje rozhodování potenciálních návštěvníků destinace. Na základě těchto dvou výzkumných fází jsou vyvozeny závěry o významu festivalu Smetanova Litomyšl a vyhodnoceny jeho dopady na město samotné. |

| Abstract: | The aim of this work is to investigate the effects of festivals on the locality where they take place. The thesis deals with the fact which areas are affected by festivals the most and how are the impacts calculated and evaluated. A more closely researched area is the Smetanova Litomyšl festival. The first chapter of the thesis introduces the basic terms such as cultural tourism, festival, impact measurement methods and online reputation management. The second part of the thesis is focused on a specific destination, namely the city of Litomyšl, where the Smetanova Litomyšl festival takes place. The aim of this part is to introduce the city and explore the location where the music festival is held. The third part of the thesis deals with the actual research of the influence of the festival on the city of Litomyšl. Based on the literature review from the first part, the methods used to investigate the effects of the festival on the locality are applied here. The research first focuses on the festival's online reputation management, which is very closely related to reputation of the city. In the second step, a questionnaire survey is carried out. The aim of the survey tries to find out the position of the festival in comparison with other tourist attractions of the city and to establish the importance of festival as a factor that determines the decision-making of visitors to the city. Based on these two research phases are provided conclusions about the significance of the Smetanova Litomyšl festival and its impact on the city itself. |
