| Abstract: | Cílem této práce je zhodnocení privatizace podniku Československá námořní plavba odpovědí na otázku "Byla privatizace Československé námořní plavby úspěšná?" Práce se skládá ze tří kapitol, přičemž první se zabývá aspektem námořní přepravy ve vztahu k tématu, zvláště pak pozicí vnitrozemských států v mezinárodní námořní přepravě, otevřenými lodními registry a dalšími právními aspekty mezinárodní námořní přepravy. Ve druhé části je zkoumána oblast privatizace, je pro účely práce definována a je prezentován výčet best practices. Práce obsahuje také historický přehled československého privatizačního procesu jednak obecně, jednak specificky v případě Československé námořní plavby. Poznatky z předcházejících dvou kapitol jsou pak použity ve třetí kapitole, kde je privatizace zhodnocena a je zodpovězena úvodní otázka. |

| Abstract: | The aim of this diploma thesis is the evaluation of the privatization of the Czechoslovak Ocean Shipping company, by answering the question "Was the privatization of Czechoslovak Ocean Shipping successful?" The thesis is composed of three chapters, with the first chapter exploring the ocean shipping aspect of the topic, especially the position of landlocked states in international ocean shipping, opean ship registers and other legal aspects of international ocean shipping. The second chapter studies the area of privatization, privatization is defined for the purposes of the thesis and a list of best practices in privatization is presented. The thesis also contains a historical overview of both the Czechoslovak privatization process in general, as well as specifically in the case of Czechoslovak Ocean Shipping. The findings in the first two chapters are then used in the third chapter to evaluate the company's privatization and answer the question from the introduction. |
