| Abstract: | Cílem této bakalářské práce je vyhodnotit dopady finanční podpory regionální politiky EU na rozvoj cestovního ruchu v regionech ČR v předešlém programovém období 2014-2020 z hlediska čerpání z Integrovaného regionálního operačního programu (IROP). Dále se práce zabývá stanovením ekonomického významu cestovního ruchu pro českou ekonomiku. Smyslem této analýzy bude zodpovědět otázku, zda měla tato podpora na vývoj cestovního ruchu v daných regionech chtěný dopad a představit důvody, které mohou hrát roli v případě, že se tyto pozitivní efekty nedostaví. Pro znázornění těchto dopadů na vývoj cestovního ruchu byly vybrány regiony soudržnosti Severozápad a Jihovýchod. Pro ověření hypotézy práce jsou analyzována data počtu hostů v hromadných ubytovacích zařízeních v daných regionech. Tato data jsou poté srovnávána s mírou podpory z IROP prostředků. Výsledek této práce přiblíží problematiku cestovního ruchu a zdůrazní benefity, kterými toto odvětví disponuje. |

| Abstract: | The topic of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate the impact of financial support of EU regional policy on the development of tourism in the regions of the Czech Republic in the previous programming period 2014-2020 in terms of drawing from the Integrated Regional Operational Programme (IROP). Furthermore, the thesis deals with determining the economic importance of tourism for the Czech economy. The purpose of this analysis is to to answer the question of whether this support has had the desired impact on the development of tourism in the regions concerned and to present the reasons that may play a role in the event that these positive effects do not happen. The North-West and South-East cohesion regions have been selected to illustrate these impacts on tourism development. To test the hypothesis of the thesis, data on the number of guests in mass accommodation establishments in the regions are analysed. These data are then compared with the level of support from IROP funds. The result of this thesis will give an overview of the tourism sector and highlight the benefits that this sector has. |
