| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá vztahem nevládních organizací a lidských práv, která jsou ve světě nadále porušována. Jejím cílem je zkoumat funkce, metody a speciální přínos nevládních organizací v oblasti ochrany lidských práv. V teoretické části jsou společně s funkcemi nevládních organizací v mezinárodním společenství nastíněny metody, které nevládní organizace v boji za ochranu lidských práv využívají. Empirická část pomocí kvalitativní metody případové studie zkoumá jednu zvolenou organizaci Civil Rights Defenders a její působení v jednom vybraném státě, kterým je Albánie. Na základě analýzy funkcí a činnosti organizace v daném státě práce odpovídá na otázku, jaké jsou metody, aktivity a speciální přínos nevládní organizace Civil Rights Defenders v oblasti ochrany lidských práv v Albánii. |

| Abstract: | The bachelor thesis deals with the relationship between non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and human rights, which continue to be violated worldwide. It aims to examine the functions, methods and special contribution of NGOs in the protection of human rights. The theoretical part outlines the methods NGOs use in the struggle for the protection of human rights and the functions of NGOs in the international community. Using a qualitative case study method, the empirical part examines one selected non-governmental organization, Civil Rights Defenders, and its work in one selected country, which is Albania. By analyzing the work of the organization in the country, the thesis aims to answer the question of what are the methods, activities and special contribution of the non-governmental organization Civil Rights Defenders in the field of human rights protection in Albania. |
