| Abstract: | Cílem této práce bylo prozkoumat profesní záměry studentů cestovního ruchu ve dvou evropských městech, v Praze a Innsbrucku. Byl vytvořen dotazník, jehož cílem bylo shromáždit údaje o podílu studentů, kteří mají zájem po ukončení studia pracovat v cestovním ruchu, a o hlavních faktorech ovlivňujících jejich rozhodnutí. K analýze získaných údajů byly použity základní metody deskriptivní statistiky. Výsledky ukázaly, že podíl studentů plánujících kariéru v cestovním ruchu je v Innsbrucku vyšší než v Praze. Hlavními motivačními faktory pro kariéru v turismu pro pražské studenty byly povaha práce, očekávaná celková spokojenost a pracovní prostředí. Pro studenty z Innsbrucku byly hlavními motivačními faktory dosažení vlastních kariérních cílů, očekávaná spokojenost s prací a pracovní prostředí. Faktory vedoucí k rozhodnutí pro práci mimo obor cestovního ruchu byly analyzovány pouze pro skupinu studentů z Prahy. Bylo zjištěno, že mezi ně patří platové podmínky, omezené možnosti dosažení vlastních kariérních cílů a nízká očekávaná pracovní spokojenosti. Rozhodovací proces při volbě kariéry je natolik komplexní, že by pro vyvození obecnějších závěrů bylo třeba většího množství dat, oficiálně schválená metodika pro jejich vyhodnocení a dlouhodobý monitoring problematiky. |

| Abstract: | This thesis aimed to investigate the career intentions of tourism students in two European cities, Prague and Innsbruck. A questionnaire was developed and distributed to collect data on the percentage of students interested in working in the tourism industry after graduation and the main factors influencing their decision. Basic descriptive statistics methods were used to analyze the collected data. The results revealed that a higher proportion of Innsbruck students planned a tourism career than those in Prague. The major motivating factors for students from Prague were the nature of the work, expected overall job satisfaction, and work environment. For students from Innsbruck, the main motivating factors were achieving their career goals, expected job satisfaction, and the work environment. The limiting factors were analyzed only for the group of students from Prague. They were found to include salary conditions, limited opportunities to achieve their own career goals, and low expected job satisfaction. It was concluded that the decision-making process is so complex that a larger amount of data, an officially valid methodology for their evaluation, and long-term monitoring of the issue would be needed to draw more general conclusions. |
