| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá obchodem s přidanou hodnotou mezi Německem a Čínou. Tato práce je originální empirickou studií, jejímž cílem je zhodnotit vhodnou metodologií část hodnotového řetězce Německa v obchodu s Čínou v roce 2019 ve vybraných strategických odvětvích zpracovatelského průmyslu. Vedlejším cílem práce je pak za užití navržené metodologie porovnat obchod vertikálně závislých odvětví a porovnat obchod s přidanou hodnotou a v hrubých tocích. Práce je rozdělena do tří na sebe navazujících kapitol. První kapitola poskytuje detailní kritický přehled literatury včetně diskuse o vhodném sledování mezinárodních obchodních toků, definuje základní pojmy. Volí východiska pro výběr zpracovatelského průmyslu jako sledovaného odvětví a metodologii. Druhá kapitola je přemostěním mezi teoretickou a praktickou částí. První, teoretická část, se zabývá obchodními vztahy vybraných ekonomik a jejich národními specifiky. Druhá, praktická část, charakterizuje zahraniční obchod Německa ve vztahu k Číně pomocí hrubých toků a následně pomocí indexu vertikální specializace. Třetí kapitola hodnotí a sleduje trendy v odvětvích s vysokou mírou vertikální závislosti na Číně. |

| Abstract: | This thesis deals with value-added trade between Germany and China. This thesis is an original empirical study, which aims to assess, with an appropriate methodology, the part of the value chain of Germany's trade with China in 2019 in selected strategic manufacturing sectors. Then, using the proposed methodology, a secondary objective of the paper is to compare the trade of vertically dependent industries and to compare trade in value-added and in gross flows. The thesis is divided into three successive chapters. The first chapter provides a detailed critical review of the literature, including a discussion on the appropriate monitoring of international trade flows, defines the basic concepts. It chooses the rationale for selecting manufacturing as the sector of interest and the methodology. The second chapter bridges the gap between the theoretical and practical parts. The first, theoretical part, deals with the trade relations of the selected economies and their national specificities. The second, practical part, characterizes Germany's foreign trade in relation to China using gross flows and then using an index of vertical specialization. The third section assesses and tracks trends in sectors with a high degree of vertical dependence on China. |
