| Abstract: | The approval of the fossil fuel ban was a significant event in the history of the automobile industry. The bachelor’s thesis aims to provide insight into the complex and growing interaction between fossil fuel bans and the performance objectives of the automotive industry through comparative research. The research will use the Five Performance Objectives of Operations Management tool. In the practical part, the analysis conducts a comparative analysis of the automotive industry's performance objective based on the Likert scale provided in the methodology part. The results revealed that the fossil fuel ban impacts the automobile industry and indicates that the industry has positively developed quality and flexibility. However, there have been negative impacts on speed and cost. Dependability remained unchanged during the period under consideration. Based on the findings mentioned above, several suggestions are provided that could improve the performance objectives after the fossil fuel ban. The study suggests that the industry should focus on supply chain efficiency and implementing supply chain resiliency measures, which can positively impact lower prices and improved speed. |

| Abstract: | Schválení zákazu fosilních paliv bylo významnou událostí v historii automobilového průmyslu. Cílem bakalářské práce je prostřednictvím komparativního výzkumu poskytnout vhled do složité a rostoucí interakce mezi zákazem fosilních paliv a výkonnostními cíli automobilového průmyslu. Výzkum bude využívat nástroj Pět výkonnostních cílů operačního managementu. V praktické části provede komparativní analýzu výkonnostního cíle automobilového průmyslu na základě Likertovy škály uvedené v metodické části. Výsledky ukázaly, že zákaz fosilních paliv ovlivňuje automobilový průmysl a naznačuje, že se v tomto odvětví pozitivně rozvíjí kvalita a flexibilita. Negativní dopady však byly zaznamenány na rychlost a náklady. Spolehlivost se ve sledovaném období nezměnila. Na základě výše uvedených zjištění je uvedeno několik návrhů, které by mohly zlepšit výkonnostní cíle po zákazu fosilních paliv. Studie navrhuje, aby se odvětví zaměřilo na efektivitu dodavatelského řetězce a zavádění opatření pro zvýšení odolnosti dodavatelského řetězce, což může mít pozitivní dopad na nižší ceny a vyšší rychlost. |
