| Abstract: | This thesis explores the behavior of investors and non-investors in the United States. The data collected by means of a questionnaire was used to compare and contrast investors with their non-investor counterparts as well as draw conclusions about how various demographics impact these decisions. The thesis demonstrates that investors and non-investors both appear to perceive risk and behave similarly when it comes to investment choices. |

| Abstract: | Tato práce zkoumá chování investorů a neinvestorů ve Spojených státech. Údaje shromážděné pomocí dotazníku byly použity k porovnání a srovnání investorů s jejich neinvestorskými protějšky a také k vyvození závěrů o tom, jak různé demografické údaje ovlivňují tato rozhodnutí. Práce ukazuje, že investoři i neinvestoři zřejmě vnímají riziko a chovají se podobně, pokud jde o investiční volbu. |
