| Abstract: | Cílem diplomové práce je návrh zlepšení procesů monitorování a kontroly v projektové kanceláři softwarové společnosti. V úvodu autor poskytuje literární rešerši k téma monitorování a kontroly v projektovém řízení. Dále autor provádí detailní analýzu procesů monitorování a kontroly ve vybrané společnosti včetně definovaných klíčových aktivit a jejich atributů. Na základě interního dotazníkové šetření a rozhovory se zástupci vedení firmy bude určena současná zralost vybraných procesů. Dle světových standardů zmíněných v literární rešerši jsou identifikovány cílové parametry atributů klíčových aktivit. V práci je proveden návrh potenciálu zlepšení na základě stanovených limitů, včetně realizace vybraných nápravných opatření. Práce je zaměřena také na využití KPI při projektovém řízení IS/ICT. Dle výzkumu autor zjistí, jak lze KPI identifikovat a následně využije tyto poznatky při tvorbě návrhu dashboardu pro projektový reporting. Přínos této práce spočívá v návrhu zlepšení procesů monitorování a kontroly v projektové kanceláři společnosti dodávající IS/ICT řešení. Sekundárním přínosem je zkoumání využití KPI v projektovém řízení. |

| Abstract: | The aim of the diploma thesis is an improvement proposal for monitoring and control processes in the project management office of a software company. In the introduction, the author provides a literature review on the topic of monitoring and control in project management. Furthermore, the author performs a detailed analysis of monitoring and control processes in the selected company, including defined key activities and their attributes. Based on an internal questionnaire survey and interviews with company management representatives, the current maturity of the selected processes will be determined. According to the world standards mentioned in the literature search, the target parameters of the attributes of the key activities are identified. In the thesis, an improvement proposal is made based on the established limits, including the implementation of selected corrective measures. The thesis is also focused on the use of KPIs in IS/ICT project management. According to the research, the author will find out how KPIs can be identified and then use this knowledge when creating a dashboard design for project reporting. The contribution of this work lies in the improvement proposal for monitoring and control processes in the PMO of a company delivering IS/ICT solutions. A secondary contribution is the investigation of the use of KPIs in project management. |
