| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá tématem implementace business intelligence řešení v malé firmě, jejíž specializací je tvorba softwaru na vlastní platformě zvané Flexideo. Cílem práce je tedy vytvořit kompletní BI řešení na míru pro danou firmu tak, aby zahrnovalo tvorbu datového skladu, ETL procesů, tvorbu OLAP kostek na analytickém serveru a také reportingovou vrstvu s alespoň jedním dashboardem. Další, dílčí, cíle práce jsou analýza společnosti a jejích potřeb v oblasti vedení IT projektů a zdokumentování této analýzy, zahrnutí prediktivních funkcí do tvořeného BI řešení tak, aby bylo možné odhadovat budoucí náklady na projekty a časové vytížení zaměstnanců firmy a také predikce reklamovanosti jednotlivých dodaných komponent aplikace. Teoretická část práce obsahuje rešerši literatury metodou systematic literature review doplněnou o několik dalších vybraných zdrojů. Dále byla provedena PEST analýza zadavatelské společnosti a zmapování a následné zaznamenání klíčových procesů firmy v BPMN notaci. Samotné BI řešení je dle přání firmy on-premise a je vybudované na technologiích společnosti Microsoft, to zahrnuje SQL servery, nástroj SSIS pro ETL procesy a aplikaci Power BI desktop pro tvorbu dashboardů. Vytyčený cíl včetně dílčích bodů, tedy analýzy firmy, tvorby samotného BI řešení a zakomponování prediktivních nástrojů pro odhad budoucích nákladů a reklamovanosti komponent, se podařilo naplnit dle očekávání vedení firmy, které se k tématu vyjádřilo v rámci validace řešení. Na tuto práci by bylo možné navázat při rozšíření datových zdrojů například o analytická data z dodávaných aplikací, které společnost plánuje do svého systému implementovat. Nová data by měla být rovněž zahrnuta v BI řešení a přenášena do datového skladu, aby nad nimi mohla být prováděna další analytika a reporting. |

| Abstract: | This diploma thesis deals with the topic of implementing a business intelligence solution in a small company, whose specialization is the creation of software on its own platform called Flexideo. The aim of the work is to create a complete BI solution tailored for a given company, so that it includes the creation of a data warehouse, ETL processes, the creation of OLAP cubes on the analysis server and a reporting layer with at least one dashboard. Other, partial, goals of the work are the analysis of the company and its needs in the field of IT project management and the documentation of this analysis, the inclusion of predictive functions in the created BI solution so that it is possible to estimate future project costs and the time workload of the company's employees, as well as predict the return rate of individual delivered application component. The theoretical part of the thesis contains a literature search using the systematic literature review method supplemented by several other selected sources. Furthermore, a PEST analysis of the contracting company was carried out and the mapping and subsequent recording of the company's key processes in BPMN notation. The BI solution itself is on-premise according to the company's wishes and is built on Microsoft technologies; it includes SQL servers, the SSIS tool for ETL processes and the Power BI desktop application for creating dashboards. The set goal including its sub-points (i.e., the analysis of the company, the creation of the BI solution itself and the incorporation of predictive tools for estimating future costs and complaints of components), was met according to the expectations of the company's management, which commented on the topic during the validation of the solution. It would be possible to build on this work by expanding the data sources, for example, with analytical data from the supplied applications, which the company plans to implement in its system. New data should also be included in the BI solution and transferred to the data warehouse for further analysis and reporting. |
