| Abstract: | Práce se zabývá technologií softwarově definovaných sítí (SDN). Jedná se o moderní přístup ke správě sítě, který umožňuje její dynamickou konfiguraci pro zlepšení výkonu a centralizaci oproti tradičnímu přístupu. Práce předkládá a definuje základní pojmy související s tematikou softwarově definovaných sítí. Cíle práce jsou dva. Prvním je zmapovat současné možnosti nabízených SDN řešení v segmentu datových center a analyzovat celou oblast SDN. Druhým cílem je vytvoření obecné sady doporučení pro implementaci SDN produktů pro SDDC. Ověření navrhované metodiky je provedeno na základě ohodnocení relevance pomocí řízených rozhovorů s experty na danou tematiku. Přínosem této práce je zprostředkování náhledu na problematiku SDN a přinesení sady doporučení pro implementaci SDN produktu do datového centra, která je obohacená o zkušenosti odborníků. |

| Abstract: | Software-defined networking (SDN) is the main topic of this thesis. It is a modern approach to the network management that allows to dynamically control the configuration of the network performance by centralizing the control plane compared to the traditional approach. The paper presents and defines the basic concepts related to the issue of software defined networks and there are two objectives. First one is to map current possibilities of SDN solutions in the data center segment that are offered and to analyze the entire SDN technology area. Second objective is to create a set of recommendations for implementing SDN products for SDDC. The proposed set of recommendations is verified based on the evaluation of relevance using structured interviews with experts on the topic. The contribution of this paper is to provide an overview over the SDN technology and to offer a set of recommendations for implementing SDN products in data centers that is enriched with the experiences of experts. |
