| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na leteckou dopravu a letiště, přesněji analýzu a porovnání dvou z největších a nejfrekventovanějších letišť v Evropě – amsterodamský Schiphol a londýnský Heathrow. Teoretická část popisuje leteckou dopravu, její historický vývoj, bezpečnost a s ní související mezinárodní letecké organizace, vliv na životní prostředí, a to včetně srovnání s ostatními druhy dopravy a podrobný popis letadlového parku. Praktická část je věnována podrobným analýzám jednotlivých letišť. Přesněji jejich historickému vývoji, kapacitní parametry a výkonové ukazatele, které jsou dále porovnány ve srovnávací analýze. Dále se práce zabývá službami a dopravní dostupností letišť i jejich působení na ochranu životního prostředí a podnikané kroky k udržitelnosti. |

| Abstract: | The bachelor's thesis is focused on air transport and airports, more precisely the analysis and comparison of two of the largest and busiest airports in Europe - Amsterdam's Schiphol and London's Heathrow. The theoretical part describes air transport, its historical development, safety and international aviation organizations, the impact on the environment, including a comparison with other types of transport and a detailed description of the air park. The practical part is devoted to detailed analyzes of individual airports. More precisely, their historical development, capacity parameters and performance indicators, which are further compared in the comparative analysis. Furthermore, the work deals with the services and transport accessibility of airports as well as their impact on environmental protection and the steps taken towards sustainability. |
