| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá vývojem plodnosti během covidových let 2020–2022 v České republice, Portugalsku, Maďarsku, Lotyšsku a Švédsku. Cílem je zanalyzovat, zda došlo ve vybraných zemích ke změnám v počtech narozených dětí v období zavedených covidových opatření. První teoretická část je věnována definicím základních demografických pojmů spojených s tematikou. Další kapitoly se zaměřují na faktory ovlivňující plodnost v zemích Evropské unie, dále shrnují informace spojené s onemocněním Covid-19. Závěr teoretické části uvádí druhy vládních opatření ke zpomalení šíření nákazy a v tabulkách jsou rozpracována konkrétní nařízení ve vybraných státech. Praktická část je rozdělena do dvou období. Nejprve je vysvětlen vývoj plodnostních ukazatelů mezi lety 2011–2018, tedy před prvními informacemi o nemoci. Poté se práce zaměřuje na covidové roky 2020–2022 v absolutních číslech, ale i bazických a řetězových indexech. Součástí této kapitoly je také analýza počtu narozených podle pořadí dítěte. Další část se zabývá souvislostí mezi plodností v jednotlivých měsících a opatřeními, která platila v zemi o devět měsíců dříve. Závěrečné dvě kapitoly praktické části jsou věnovány celkovému souhrnu a srovnání výsledků České republiky s dalšími vybranými zeměmi. Bylo zjištěno, že Covid-19 s určitými rozdíly negativně ovlivnil plodnostní ukazatele ve všech sledovaných zemích. Největší poklesy byly obvykle zaznamenány v měsících s nejtvrdšími restrikcemi. Práce končí nástinem očekávaného vývoje plodnosti v nadcházejících letech. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor's thesis deals with the fertility development during the covid years 2020–2022 in the Czech Republic, Portugal, Hungary, Latvia and Sweden. The main goal is to analyze, if there have been changes in the number of newborn children in selected countries during the period of the introduced covid measures. The first theoretical part is aimed for definitions of basic demographic terms associated with the topic. Other chapters focus on the factors affecting fertility in the countries of the European Union, and deal with information related to the disease Covid-19. The conclusion of the theoretical part contains the types of government measures to slow down the disease spreading, and the tables with specific regulations in selected states. The practical part is divided into two periods. As a first is explained the development of fertility indicators between 2011–2018, i.e. before the first information about the disease. The thesis is then targeted at the covid years 2020–2022 in absolute numbers, but also in basic and chain index. This chapter also includes an analysis of newborn babies number according to the order of the child. The next part deals with the connection between the fertility in individual months and the measures that were in force in the country nine months ago. The final two chapters of the practical part are focused on overall summary and comparison of the results of the Czech Republic with other selected countries. It was found that Covid-19 had a negative impact on fertility indicators in all monitored countries, with some differences. The biggest decreases were usually recorded in the months with the strictest measures. The work ends with an outline of the expected fertility development in the coming years. |
