| Abstract: | Hlavním cílem práce je zjistit, zda je aktuální stav implementace praktik konceptu Smart Citites v Hradci Králové úspěšný. Toho je dosaženo na základě dotazníkového šetření, které bylo vyplněno lidmi pohybujícími se v Hradci Králové. Cílem dotazníkového šetření je zjistit míru povědomí a spokojenost s iniciativami realizovanými magistrátem skrze otázky zjišťující názor a informovanost respondenta. Město bylo zvoleno z důvodů regionálního významu a také existence Smart City programu a infrastruktury nutné pro jeho zahájení. Teoretická část charakterizuje historii a pojednává o definici pojmu Smart City. Další částí je rešerše doposud vyhotovených dokumentů a informování současného stavu projektů probíhajících v Hradci. Praktická část zahrnuje četnostní analýzu výsledků a vyvození závěrů z dostupných dat. V závěru práce je shrnut současný stav a poskytnuta doporučení pro zaměstnance magistrátu pro budoucí kroky v této oblasti. |

| Abstract: | The main aim of this thesis is to assess the current state of implementation of Smart Cities practices in Hradec Králové. This goal is achieved through a questionnaire survey, that was filled out by people that spend a significant amount of their time in Hradec Králové. The aim of the questionnaire was to assess the level of awareness and overall satisfaction with initiatives implemented by the municipality using inquiries that ascertain the opinion and knowledge of the respondent. The city was chosen due to its regional significance and the existence of a Smart City program and infrastructure for laying its foundation. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the history and various definition connected to the term Smart City. It also includes an explanation of the current documentation and the information about the current situation regarding projects smart projects that are either under development or were completed. The practical part includes an analysis of the questionnaire results and conclusions made from this data. At the end of the work, the current situation is summarized, and recommendations are provided to be used by the municipality employees in future decision making in the area. |
