| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá prevencí uživatelského odporu z neznalosti vůči nasazení vícefaktorové autentizace na Vysoké škole ekonomické v Praze. Univerzita rozhodla o plošném nasazení druhého faktoru v roce 2023 s motivací zvýšení kybernetické bezpečnosti instituce. Pro uchopení dané problematiky bylo nezbytné porozumět jak významu bezpečnostního opatření druhého faktoru, tak i fenoménu uživatelského odporu. V první řadě se proto práce věnuje vícefaktorové autentizaci a jejímu vlivu na uživatelskou zkušenost. Následuje pak část, která bere za inspiraci zkušenosti z jiných organizací obdobného rozsahu, které si prošly nasazením druhého faktoru. Současně práce rozvádí téma prevence uživatelského odporu jak v teoretické, tak i prakticky aplikovatelné rovině. V praktické části jsou ve větším detailu popsány náležitosti nasazení, tvorby komunikační strategie a výsledky dotazníkového šetření, které posloužilo jako důležitý podklad k dalšímu rozhodování. Hlavním přínosem této práce je aplikace prevence uživatelského odporu na tvorbu komunikační strategie v souvislosti s nasazením vícefaktorové autentizace na VŠE, inspiraci v práci mohou najít i další instituce a podniky, které řeší podobnou problematiku. |

| Abstract: | The bachelor thesis deals with the prevention of user resistance due to ignorance towards the deployment of multi-factor authentication at the University of Economics in Prague. The university has decided to deploy the second factor full-scale in 2023 with the motivation of increasing the cybersecurity of the institution. To grasp the issue, it was necessary to understand both the importance of the second factor security measure and the phenomenon of user resistance. Therefore, the first focus of this paper is on multi-factor authentication and its impact on user experience. This is then followed by a section that takes as inspiration the experiences of other organisations of similar scale that have gone through second factor deployment. At the same time, the paper elaborates on the topic of preventing user resistance in both theoretical and practically applicable terms. The practical part then describes in greater detail the details of the deployment, the development of the communication strategy and the results of the questionnaire survey, which served as an important basis for further decision-making. The main contribution of this paper is the application of user resistance prevention to the development of a communication strategy in the context of the deployment of multi-factor authentication at the University of Economics in Prague. |
