| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje zjištění povědomí a reakce studentů Univerzity třetího věku Vysoké školy ekonomické v Praze (U3V) na útoky sociálního inženýrství. V první části práce byla provedena rešerše literatury a byly definovány pojmy související s problematikou sociálního inženýrství. Následně byl popsán proces a představeny jednotlivé druhy útoků. Dále byla zkoumána oblast bezpečnosti, prevence proti útokům a aktuální trendy. Ve druhé části bylo provedeno kvantitativní šetření s cílem odpovědět na čtyři dílčí výzkumné otázky spojené s úrovní povědomí a reakce na útoky sociálního inženýrství. Dotazník vyplnilo celkem 126 respondentů z řad studentů U3V. Z výsledků výzkumu vyplynulo, že většina studentů měla o problematice vysoké povědomí a vhodně reagovala na potenciální útoky sociálního inženýrství. Vzhledem k dynamickému vývoji a neustálým změnám v oblasti sociálního inženýrství je důležité studenty U3V kontinuálně vzdělávat a zvyšovat jim povědomí. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor's thesis is dedicated to examining the awareness and reactions of students from the University of the Third Age at the Prague University of Economics and Business (U3A) to social engineering attacks. The first part of the thesis provides a literature review and defines concepts related to social engineering issues. Subsequently, the process is described, and individual types of attacks are introduced. The area of security, prevention against attacks, and current trends were also examined. In the second part, a quantitative survey was conducted to answer four sub-research questions related to the level of awareness and response to social engineering attacks. A total of 126 U3A student respondents answered the questionnaire. The results of the survey indicated that the majority of students had a high awareness of the issue and responded appropriately to potential social engineering attacks. However, due to the dynamic nature and constant changes in the field of social engineering, it is important to continuously educate U3A students and raise their awareness. |
