| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na vyhledání a následný výběr vhodného CASE nástroje se zaměřením na potřeby výuky předmětu 4IT218 Databáze na fakultě informatiky a statistiky Vysoké škole ekonomické. V první části onoho výběru jsou díky analýze předmětu 4IT218 Databáze vymezeny požadavky předmětu na dané CASE nástroje. Díky těmto vytvořeným požadavkům jsou nadále vytvořena kritéria určená k výběru a selekci množiny nástrojů a také srovnávací kritéria určená k pozdější komparaci vybrané množiny nástrojů. Následující část práce obsahuje samotný výběr. Výběr se skládá z tří fázích. První fáze je výčet nástrojů získaných díky provedené rešerši. Druhá fáze výběru, takzvaný předvýběr obsahuje množinu nástrojů splňující základní výběrová kritéria. Jedná se o nejzákladnější funkce, kterými musí nástroj disponovat. Následný užší výběr nám pomocí vytvořených užších výběrových kritérií, které prozkoumávají funkčnost nástroje více do hloubky, určují finální množinu šesti nástrojů. Tyto nástroje jsou v následující části podrobeny metodice komparace. Ta probíhá díky vytvořeným srovnávacím kritériím z předešlé části. Po samotném porovnání je provedeno vyhodnocení a doporučení množiny třech nejlépe ohodnocených nástrojů pro účely výuky předmětu Databáze na fakultě informatiky a statistiky Vysoké školy ekonomické v Praze. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis deals with the search and subsequent selection of a suitable CASE tool focusing on the needs of teaching the 4IT218 database course at the Faculty of Informatics and Statistics of the University of Economics. The first part of the selection defines the requirements of the database subject for the given CASE tools. Thanks to these created requirements, criteria for the selection and selection of the set of tools are further created, as well as comparison criteria for the later comparison of the selected set of tools. The following part of the thesis contains the selection itself. The selection consists of three stages. The first phase is the enumeration of the tools obtained thanks to the search performed. The second phase of the selection, the so-called pre-selection, contains the set of tools that meet the basic selection criteria. These are the most basic features that the tool must have. The subsequent shortlisting process uses the shortlisting criteria created to explore the functionality of the tool in more depth to determine the final set of six tools. These instruments are subjected to a comparison methodology in the following section. This is done thanks to the established benchmarks from the previous section. After the comparison itself, an evaluation and recommendation of the set of three best rated tools for the purpose of teaching the subject Database at the Faculty of Informatics and Statistics of the University of Economics in Prague is made. |
