| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá identifikací bariér souvisejících s přijetím asistivních technologií u klientů domovů sociální péče na Domažlicku v roce 2023. Hlavním východiskem pro tuto práci je skutečnost, že nejen Česká republika, ale i Evropa celkově, jsou silně ovlivněny stárnutím populace. Teoretická část je postavena na literární rešerši. Věnuje se podrobném popisu asistivních technologiích, které se staví k tomuto problému jako jedna z dílčích řešení. Popsán je ale i systém sociálních služeb, které Česká republika nabízí. Hlavní metodou, která byla použita v praktické části této práce je dotazníkové šetření, díky kterému došlo ke sběru dat týkajících se výzkumu ohledně bariér přijetí asistivních technologií u seniorů. Z tohoto výzkumu vyplývá, že hlavní bariérou, která brání zařazení asistivních technologií do běžného života, je strach klientů ze složitosti ovládání dané technologie. Tato bariéra však není jedinou. Další důvody, které se týkají nepřijetí technologie, jsou spojovány s nedůvěrou v zařízení, omezeným kontaktem se sociálními pracovnicemi, který je pro většinu klientů opravdu důležitý, či strach z nefunkčnosti a poškození daného aparátu. Výpovědi klientů by tak mohly pomoci v přiblížení technologií seniorům a jejich následném zapojení do běžného života. Z výzkumu lze také zjistit, že jedno z vybraných zařízení již do chodu domova asistivní technologie zapojilo a klienti je tak běžně využívají. |

| Abstract: | Bachelor thesis focuses on identifying barriers related to the adoption of assistive technologies among clients of social care homes in Domažlice in the year 2023. The main motivation for this work is the fact that not only the Czech Republic but also Europe as a whole is strongly influenced by the aging population. The theoretical part is based on literature research and provides a detailed description of assistive technologies that are one of the possible solutions to this problem. The social service system offered by the Czech Republic is also described. The main method used in the practical part of this work is a questionnaire survey, which collected data related to research on barriers to the adoption of assistive technologies among seniors. The research shows that the main barrier preventing the integration of assistive technologies into daily life is the fear of complexity in operating the technology. However, this barrier is not the only one. Other reasons that relate to the rejection of technology are associated with distrust of the device, limited contact with social workers, which is really important for most of the clients, or fear of malfunction and damage to the device. The testimony of clients could help in bringing technology closer to seniors and their subsequent integration into daily life. The research also reveals that one of the selected facilities has already implemented assistive technology into the operation of the home, and clients are using it without hesitation. |
