| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na vztah mezi mírou korupce a ekonomickou výkonností vybraných zemí. Teoretická část vymezuje pojem korupce, její formy, příčiny vzniku a důsledky. Popsány jsou ukazatele HDP, CPI, CC a Legatum Prosperity Index a metody měření využité v praktické části. Ta je tvořena regresní a korelační analýzou aplikovanou na ukazatele zemí EU, kandidátských zemí a zemí bývalého Sovětského svazu. Cílem práce je potvrdit či vyvrátit hypotézu o existenci a síle závislosti vztahu mezi těmito ukazateli dokazující míru dopadu korupce na jednotlivé ekonomiky států. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor's thesis focuses on the relationship between the level of corruption and the economic performance of selected countries. The theoretical part defines the concept of corruption, its forms, causes and consequences. It describes the indicators GDP, CPI, CC and Legatum Prosperity Index and the measurement methods used in the practical part. That is made up of regression and correlation analysis applied to indicators of EU countries, candidate countries and countries of the former Soviet Union. The aim of the thesis is to confirm or refuse the hypothesis about the existence and strength of the relationship between these indicators proving the degree of impact of corruption on individual state economies. |
