| Abstract: | Tématem diplomové práce je dostupnost zdravotní péče. Práce se zaměřuje na zdravotní systémy České republiky a Spojených států amerických. Teoretická část nejprve definuje základní pojmy, kterými jsou zdraví, zdravotní péče, dostupnost zdravotní péče a spojuje je s ekonomickou teorií. Taktéž jsou představeny modely zdravotnických systémů. Praktická část je rozdělena na dvě hlavní části, které sledují dva předem stanovené cíle. První je představení americké legislativy Affordable Care Act, jenž má za cíl zvýšení dostupnosti zdravotní péče ve Spojených státech. Výstupem je autorem vytvořená SWOT analýza zákona. Druhá část se věnuje komparaci zdravotních systémů České republiky a Spojených států z hlediska dostupnosti zdravotní péče. |

| Abstract: | The topic of the diploma‘s thesis is accessibility of health care. The thesis focuses on the health care systems of the Czech Republic and the United States of America. The theoretical part firstly defines the basic concepts of health, health care, accessibility of health care and connects them with economic theory. Models of health systems are also presented. The practical part is divided into two main parts, which pursue two predetermined objectives of the thesis. The first is an introduction of the Affordable Care Act legislation, which aims to increase the accessibility of healthcare in the United States. The result is SWOT analysis of the law created by the author. The second part is devoted to a comparison of the health care systems of the Czech Republic and the United States in terms of access to health care. |
