| Abstract: | Organisations offer numerous possibilities for process improvement, particularly in the case of SMEs, which are more agile and adaptable than larger organisations, making them better suited for process improvement initiatives. This Bachelor’s thesis aims to explore and improve the process of personalising leather straps in the Czech company Loro Oro, using Lean sustainability and other Lean tools. Theoretical background is given to the leather industry, Lean Six Sigma and Operations management, as well as their connection to sustainability. DMAIC is then applied to analyse, create, and control improvements for the specified process. The outcome of the thesis is the improved process and its potential application in the company, along with the academic contribution as another case of Lean and Green. |

| Abstract: | Organizace nabízejí mnoho možností pro zlepšování procesů, zejména v případě malých a středních podniků (SMEs), které jsou agilnější a přizpůsobivější než větší organizace, což je činí vhodnějšími pro iniciativy zlepšování procesů. Cílem této bakalářské práce je prozkoumat a zlepšit proces personalizace kožených popruhů v české společnosti Loro Oro s využitím Lean udržitelnosti a dalších Lean metod. Teoretická část se věnuje kožedělnému průmyslu, metodám Lean Six Sigma a řízení operací, a zároveň jejich propojení s udržitelností. Metoda DMAIC je následně aplikována k analýze, tvorbě a kontrole zlepšení daného procesu. Výsledkem práce je vylepšený proces a jeho potenciální uplatnění ve společnosti, spolu s akademickým přínosem jako další příklad Lean and Green. |
